Stine Larsen extends with BK Häcken
BK Häcken have today confirmed the extension of Danish international forward Stine Larsen, who first joined the Club in Summer 2021.
Last season, Stine was a key member of the team as Häcken finished Damallsvenskan runners-up for the second consecutive season, and also finished as Swedish Cup runners-up. The versatile forward started 23 games for the Gulsvart, contributing 7 goals and 4 assists, which was joint-second in the Club for points.
Stine is also an established member of the Danish national team, with 21 goals in 69 caps - and continuing with Häcken provides a strong foundation to earn an important role at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia & New Zealand.
Speaking about extending her stay in Göteborg, Stine said “It wasn’t hard for me, I feel incredibly comfortable here at BK Häcken. I feel as if I’ve found my role in the team. This really feels right.”
“I know that I’ll become better, and that the team will become better. We finished the season strongly, we’ve got something good going on and I’m hoping that we’ll continue with that.”
“We’re hungry, we’re hoping to win the OBOS Damallsvenskan, the cup and that we’ll qualify for the group stages of the Champions League – we’re dreaming big.”
We’re excited to watch you continue your Swedish journey, Stine!
